Saudi-based telecom operator Mobily said it is providing 4G LTE international roaming services in 15 countries around the world.

The company aims to reach more than 50 countries around the world by the end of 2014, it said on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress 2014, Barcelona, Spain.

It is currently covering Canada, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tajikistan, the UAE and US.

The plan is to include Japan, UK, Belgium, Brazil, Norway, Oman and Australia in the coverage during the summer of this year.

Khalid bin Omar Al Kaf,  MD and CEO of Mobily, emphasized that this strategic move puts the kingdom’s name at the forefront of the world in the advancement of international 4G roaming services, where such coverage is broad and is the largest current target in the world. - TradeArabia News Service
