Apex Group enters agreement with Level 3

Dubai, July 21, 2013

The Apex Group, an outsourced sales force for industry-leading multi-national IT and telecom companies, has entered into an agreement under which it has been engaged by Level 3 Communications to move from an outsourced to an insourced model, effective from July 1.

Under the agreement, six of The Apex Group’s sales, sales engineering, and business development personnel in Dubai, Riyadh, and Beirut, all of whom are well-versed in Level 3 solutions will report to Level 3’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) organisation.

The Apex Group’s founder and CEO, Alex Giannikoulis, will provide sales leadership in the Middle East region for Level 3, a Fortune 500 company that provides local, national and global communications services to enterprise, government and carrier customers.

Since 2008, The Apex, seeking to grow sales in the emerging EMEA markets provided outsourced sales and market development services to Level 3, leveraging its professional expertise and knowledge to help grow Level 3's business in the region.

During this time, the Apex Group provided solutions for connectivity, content, and security to many of Middle East's largest and most-recognised enterprises, particularly in the telecommunications and media sectors.

“The Apex Group was created to develop and grow sales for ICT companies entering the emerging markets of EMEA,” said Giannikoulis.

“We selectively chose best-of-breed technology providers that could enable our regional customers’ business objectives. In Level 3, we found a company that has a wide range of services delivered on Level 3’s global communications networks.  We applaud Level 3’s wise and deliberate approach toward market expansion.  Our relationship over the past five years has demonstrated a proven template for utilising a partner to first understand a market’s dynamics and then expand in-line with the market’s demonstrated demand.

“Our decision to enter into this agreement with Level 3 was carefully calculated with our regional customers’ best interests in mind - the combination of Level 3’s network and our in-region market experience ensures a long-term commitment to supporting them.  Level 3’s company values of integrity and accountability match our own ethos; something we are proud to continue with Level 3,” Giannikoulis concluded. - TradeArabia News Service
