UAE's leading telecom services operator Etisalat has announced the exclusive launch of 4G LTE mobile broadband devices from Huawei at highest speeds of 150Mbps across the emirates.

The new devices will be available at all Etisalat business centers starting from June 17, said a statement from Etisalat.

The portable 150 Mbps 4G LTE WiFi Modem - the latest generation of high-performance wireless internet devices from Etisalat - allows users to enjoy a multiple super-fast internet connection they can share with up to 10 of their friends, family and work for their laptop, smartphones or tablets. The device works on 4G as well as 3G network, it stated.

The slim and small 150 Mbps 4G USB Internet modem is portable, user friendly and compatible with all computers, both desktop and laptop, according to the statement.

This USB device is best suited for a single user as it gives Etisalat customers the option of utilisingit on demand basis and works on 4G as well as 3G networks.

The 150 Mbps 4G LTE Mobile WiFi Modem and the 150 Mbps 4G LTE USB Modem are being offered for Dh899 ($245) and Dh799 respectively, said the UAE telecom firm.

It can be obtained for free by subscribing to Etisalat’s My Data Plan pack bundle on a 12-month contract with a monthly data package of 20GB paying a monthly subscription amount of Dh449, it added.

Users can also purchase the devices at a discounted price by signing up to a contract for the 1GB and 5GB pack bundles on a six or 12 months contract. Subscribers pay Dh99 per month for a data package of 1GB and Dh249 per month for a data package of 5GB.

Khaled El Khouly, the chief marketing officer, said: “With the launch of the 4G LTE internet devices, Etisalat further empowers customers in the UAE by offering them the fastest and most reliable internet performance, linking multiple users to a single connection which they can access from wherever they are located."
