Rolman plans move to new HQ in Dubai

Dubai, June 3, 2013

Dubai-based Rolman Group, a top distributor of bearing and other technical equipment, has announced its move into its new larger headquarters in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza).

The lease agreement was signed in Jafza by Dr Abdulla Al Banna, vice president of Commercial Sales and Akram Muazzen, CEO of the Rolman Group. The move from its current headquarter location in Jafza to this new headquarters is expected to begin in the third quarter this year.

A long-time resident in Jafza, the Rolman Group’s state-of-the-art operations and logistics center opened in 2004. This 5,000 sq m facility in Jafza is the current home of the Rolman Group’s headquarters.

“We have long since realized the value of being located in the UAE and have therefore established a presence in Dubai as early as 1994. The move to our new headquarters is in line with our regional growth plans. The new larger facility, which is just over 33,000 square meters, is a testament to the expansion we are undergoing,” said Muazzen.

The new headquarters covers over six times the area of its current Jafza location, and has ten times the storage capacity.  The new location has 20,000 sq m of storage with a capacity to hold 53,000 sq m pallet stacks.

It also houses 16 loading bays and can accommodate 250 employees; it can accommodate over 100 employees simultaneously in its canteen. It also has an additional training center, workshop and showroom facilities.

“We have many value-added services to ensure continued customer satisfaction with a comprehensive after-sales support system in place; this in addition to many other services has brought Rolman Group a significant international portfolio.  It is our aim to become known as the premier world-class supplier of bearings and related services in the global market,” he added.

The Rolman Group serves the automotive, agriculture, transport, oil & gas, food processing, and the steel and cement industries. It has expanded to nine branches in the Middle East and Africa, with more expansion to take place within the year, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
