Reed unveils new service for Aluminium ME

Dubai, April 22, 2013

Reed Exhibitions, organiers of Aluminium Middle East 2013 has announced a new B2B business matching programme that will make it easier for exhibitors to forge connections through an extensive database of business contacts and companies.

The third edition of the leading exhibition for aluminium products, technologies and investments in the Middle East which begins tomorrow in Dubai, will include companies from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, GCC, North Africa, Levant, Turkey, India, South Africa, Asia and Australia.

The new programme, which has already identified over 200 serious buyers from the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, China, India, Pakistan, Russia, Romania and Canada seeking matches for their sourcing requirements, is in line with the mission of Aluminium Middle East 2013 to increase the region’s global market share and help boost the GCC’s aluminium exports to exceed 80 per cent of the current total production.

The most popular products sought by buyers include extrusion related products, castings, raw materials, aluminium profiles, aluminium accessories and aluminium recycling services, a statement from the organisers said.

The event will set up a business matching lounge to assist exhibitors in printing their meeting schedule or finding buyers’ sourcing requirements, as well as facilitating on-the-spot business matching for walk-ins.

The business matching requirements will be listed and available on the show’s online platform up to one year after the exhibition. The programme has been launched in collaboration with business matching specialist Socialwalk.

Mohammed Bader-Eddin, show director of Aluminium Middle East 2013, said: “We are proactively introducing new programmes that reflect the mission of Aluminium Middle East to be the premier networking platform for the aluminium industry in the region.”

“The newly enhanced B2B business matching programme is an important step in this direction as it opens new windows of opportunity for top-quality buyers, agents, distributors and other industry stakeholders to forge new strategic connections and ultimately expand their business interest in the region.”

“Moreover, the new service significantly enhances the networking and marketing potential of exhibitors and trade visitors as we will be providing business matches and recommendations until the start of the event, allowing them to carefully plan and ensure that they realise their key objectives at the trade event.”

The show will go on till April 25 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. – TradeArabia News Service
