Quadruplets delivered at Abu Dhabi hospital

Abu Dhabi, November 3, 2013

Abu Dhabi-based Al Rahba Hospital, operated by Seha and managed by Johns Hopkins Medicine International, has announced the successful delivery of a second set of quadruplets since the establishment of the hospital.

It is the first public hospital in the UAE to receive the prestigious Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation in 2006, said a  statement from Al Rahba.

Dr Nellie Shuri Boma, the chief medical officer at Al Rahba Hospital said, “Putting patients first is what we do best. We are committed to providing our patients medical care in keeping with International Standards. I am very proud of staff at Al Rahba Hospital. We wish the parents, the babies and family a life of health, happiness and prosperity.”

The quadruplets - named Fatima, Shamsa, Aisha and Sheikha - were handed over to the delighted Jordanian father Abdulaziz Awad.

“I am a lucky father of four healthy and beautiful babies. I feel extremely blessed," he added.

Lauding the hospital staff's dedication, Awad said: "The doctors & nurses’ response time was amazing and also the treatment and care. The hospital facilitated the paper work at a very short notice, which further eased the delivery process."-TradeArabia News Service
