Naffco rolls out mobile medical unit

Dubai, April 29, 2013

UAE-based Naffco (National Fire Fighting and Manufacturing), a leader in fire protection systems, recently launched its mobile medical unit - the Naffco Mobile Hospital.

The unit will cater to facilities like the X-ray, laboratory, MRI unit and CT scanner alongside a recovery room.

Reflecting Naffco’s mobile unit slogan “We can reach you, anywhere”, the mobile medical units have essentially been created to reduce casualties for the lack of prompt medical services, a statement said.

The Mobile Hospital intends to reach out to lesser privileged areas which are deprived of fully functional medical services. With a strong potential to serve in many ways, the Ministries of Civil Defence and Health of various countries in the Middle East are keen to introduce this concept as medical crisis prevention measures, according to the statement.

“Our Mobile Medical units are a need-of-the-hour life saving combination of timely medical expertise backed with its mobility to be anywhere anytime,” said Khalid Al Khatib, CEO of Naffco.

“They are geared to save precious human lives with the best range of medical equipments on board ensuring quick diagnosis and uninterrupted treatment. Naffco is proud to manufacture a product that is so high-tech and noble and matches our company’s philosophy of safety and saving lives.”

With flexible utilities, this mobile medical unit can be operated as a standalone hospital in natural calamity situations like earthquakes, floods and other emergency situations. Naffco’s ability to customise its Mobile Hospital units based on requirements poses it a complete healthcare offering with medical services ranging from basic medical tests administration to critical care units.

“Cutting down on fixed infrastructural costs our Mobile Hospitals utilises needful resources and maps larger areas who are in need of medical services thus making it a flexible, life saving and cost effective healthcare solution” added Al Khatib. – TradeArabia News Service
