Turkey school to expand into UAE, Qatar

Dubai, March 6, 2013

Doga Schools, a leading education system in Turkey, revealed plans to set up 10 schools in the UAE and Qatar in the next five years at the ongoing Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) exhibition in Dubai.

The $15 million expansion is part of Doga Schools’ strategic plan to increase its network abroad, which currently includes schools in Turkey, Cyprus, and Canada.

Doğa Schools is exhibiting at GESS 2013 in collaboration with Britannica Encyclopaedia, to meet potential partners for its expansion plans and showcase its unique education offerings, such as the Nature Based Learning Concept, SOES (Student Oriented Education System) and t-MBA Educational Model (literally a teenage MBA qualification).

The t-MBA Educational Model, which attracts students from all over the world, is targeting to reach the same level of acceptance as the International Baccalaureate programme. It was recently accredited by Edexcel, the internationally recognised accreditation body that is part of Pearson, the world's leading learning company.

“The Gulf region has one of the most dynamic education markets in the world. Its unprecedented growth in the last few years and projected expansion in the next 10 years present a lot of opportunities for Doga Schools. It’s also very competitive, but we are confident that with our unique offerings and approach we will achieve success in this part of the world,” said Doğukan Ozgen, Doğa’s  t-MBA coordinator, Doga Schools.

According to Ozgen, attending international exhibition such as GESS and the Global Education Forum allows Doga Schools to open the global education community’s eye to what it is and what it stands for.

“We are keen to use our presence at the show in 2013 to further raise awareness and provide those who visit us with a deeper understanding of what makes us different. We will be joined on our stand by a number of our own students as they really are the best endorsement of what our approach to education can achieve,” Ozgen added.

Doğa Schools’ stand will also be used as a visual reminder of how important nature and technology is in their approach to education. Doga will be sharing the stand with globally-renowned Britannica Encyclopaedia, one of Doga Schools leading partners.

The students who will be in attendance will also talk about how access to the technology, whether it is Apple-based kit, digital media equipment, or even SAP-based software, is preparing them for their future careers.

GESS 2013 will run until March 7 at Dubai World Trade Centre. – TradeArabia News Service
