Qatar Rail, the company overseeing the construction of the integrated railway network, has announced the pearl sponsorship of the annual Qatar Career Fair 2013, set to be held next month.

The event which will be held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from April 1 to 6, is an annual exhibition and forum that provides education and employment opportunities for students at secondary and graduate levels as well as for fresh graduates, through the country’s major institutions. QCF is also a national project that supports the human development pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

“Qatar Rail is striving to make a significant year-on-year contribution to the Qatarisation policy and to serve the interests of the Qatari community we belong to. Our efforts are part of a nationwide plan to invest in young Qatari talent. We seek to recruit, develop and train a highly qualified and skilled Qatari workforce so that Qatar Rail is managed and operated by Qatari manpower,” said Saad Al Muhannadi, chief executive of Qatar Rail.  

“The company’s primary goal from this participation is to boost the Qatarisation programme and be recognised as an employer of choice for young ambitious Qatari talent who wish to develop themselves through the training and development programmes offered by the company to Qatari students, graduates and employees. Our sponsorship of the Career Fair is testament to the importance we uphold the country’s Qatarisation drive.”

A large number of young, talented Qataris who are expected to visit the stand at the Qatar Career Fair 2013 will learn about what Qatar Rail does and what it stands for, he said. – TradeArabia News Service
