Unique online careers and employment resource Jobs4Bahrainis.com has taken another major step forward in its mission to help qualified Bahrainis find employment thanks to the Kingdom’s Tamkeen Labour Fund.

Under the terms of an agreement between the two parties, Tamkeen is meeting 100 per cent of the costs previously charged to companies and job seekers to use the portal.

In essence, employers will be able to post job vacancies, and job seekers will be able to upload their CVs, free of charge.

Jobs4Bahrainis.com is an initiative of Gulf Connexions, the Kingdom’s leading recruitment company.

Jubran Abdulrahman, the director of Jobs4Bahrainis.com, said: "Within the first few days of going live we have received an overwhelmingly positive response from leading employers in the Kingdom. The fact that these companies come from a variety of sectors including hospitality, healthcare, accounting and construction underlines the broad appeal of Jobs4Bahrainis.com as a valuable online resource across key economic sectors."

“The partnership with Tamkeen enables Jobs4Bahrainis.com to deliver on its objectives to widen the employment, training and personal development opportunities to job seekers, while at the same time providing a user-friendly virtual market place for employers to match the best available talent to their vacancies,” observed Abdulrahman.

Amal Al-Kooheji, the deputy VP for Human Capital Development at Tamkeen, said, “The portal has got off to an excellent start, and thanks to the efforts of the Tamkeen and J4B teams it is an excellent vehicle on which to encourage broader employer-employee matchmaking."

"It will also serve as a showcase to consolidate many of Tamkeen’s other initiatives related to Human Capital Development, such as professional and vocational training, employment initiatives and training on work readiness skills," she stated.

Fully aligned with the Kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030, Jobs4Bahrainis.com is designed to promote Bahrainis as the employees of choice by showcasing a community of available talent and skills.
