GulfInteriors a boutique showcase

Dubai, May 7, 2013

GulfInteriors, the annual exhibition for interiors, design and furniture, will open its doors today at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre for what promises to be yet another boutique showcase for both trade visitors and members of the public.

The exhibition, which runs until Thursday, is one of a trio of trade shows being simultaneously organised by Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE).

Held in a creatively charged yet distinctly boutique atmosphere, gulfInteriors 2013 will feature more than 70 companies - some home-grown, some regional and several renowned international brands covering sectors including furniture, paints, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, ceramics, wall coverings and art and accessories segments.

Together, the exhibition promises to be an inspirational showcase.

"The size of this year's show and the expectations attached to it from exhibitors, visitors and HCE as organisers, says much about the regional feel-good factor," HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said.

"Since its launch in 2010, gulfInteriors has carved a distinct niche as a place where specialist product and service providers can mingle and do business with project managers, specifiers, buyers and even home owners, against a background of exciting new projects and increasing economic wealth," he added.

Last year's show, held in conjunction with the market-leading gulfBID exhibition, saw over 6,500 visitors coming over three days.

With the inaugural Gulf Property Show being integrated into the three-day showcase, HCE expects total visitor of numbers to significantly exceed this figure this year.

"We are excited about the nature and scope of potential visitor attractions, led by renowned interior brands such as Hempel and Berger Paints, Thevenon, Designers Guild, Lignet Rosse, Walter Knoll, Vondom, Cattelan Italia, Sonia Rykel Maison, Tarkett and Missoni Home, to mention a few," added Mr Abdulrahman.

gulfInteriors2013 is supported by the Industry and Commerce Ministry, Tamkeen and the German Arab Chamber of Commerce. The show will be open from midday until 9pm today, and from 9am to 9pm on the following two days.-TradeArabia News Service
