Bahrain's housing needs probed

Manama, February 26, 2013

Bahrain Property Development Association (BaPDA) representatives and senior Housing Ministry officials discussed co-operation between real estate developers, the government and the private sector.

The meeting covered issues related to the country's housing needs, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

"We commend the tremendous efforts and ongoing commitment by the government towards our national goal of addressing housing needs as quickly as possible," said BaPDA chairman Aaref Hejres.

"This meeting was part of the industry's concerted efforts to make changes and achieve a sustainable result through focused and thoughtful action. Our meeting today with the ministry has been an extremely encouraging one and we look forward to working in conjunction with them towards our common goals," Hejres noted.

"We hope that BaPDA will continue to make a substantial difference and serve as an effective representative of the real estate industry in Bahrain," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
