Iran's annual exports to Oman to hit $600m by March
TEHRAN, January 8, 2017
Iran's exports to Oman reached $390 million over the past seven months and is expected to rise to $600 million by the end of the Iranian year in March, head of the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce said on Saturday.
This is while Iran's annual exports of commodities to the Arabian Gulf country used to be at $148 million just four years ago, Mohsen Zarrabi was quoted as saying by Irna.
He said that the rise in Iran's exports to Oman is due in part to launching a direct shipping line between the two countries.
