The Arab Tourism Ministers’ Council has unanimously approved the nomination of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa to the post of UN World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) Secretary-General, said a report.

 

Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani submitted a demand to his Arab counterparts to back the nomination of Shaikha Mai bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, news agency BNA reported.
