Dubai allows MICE events from Sept 15

Dubai Tourism has announced that Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) local events can start in the emirate from September 15.
 
A circular on Dubai Tourism website said that aligned with the directive of Dubai’s Covid-19 Command Control Center, the emirate’s tourism activities rules for facilities and services have been updated to resume economic activities and allowing the below:
* MICE Local Event, starting from September 15, 2020;
* International MICE events, starting from October 1, 2020;
* Leisure and other events, starting from September 15, 2020
* Wedding and social private parties are still not allowed until further notice.
 
Dubai Tourism will continue to assess the situation and periodically provide updates to the industry in consultation with the relevant city health and crises response authorities, it said.
 
"Public health and safety are Dubai’s utmost priority, and we deploy the most stringent international standards in safeguarding all our people at all times. Dubai authorities are diligently monitoring, and continuously adapting our response protocols to align with the latest guidance from the World Health Organisation (WHO) so that the city can continue to successfully contain outbreak risk within our communities, for both residents and visitors," another circular said. - TradeArabia News Service
