Jannah Hotels takes part in the Earth Hour initiative

The lights went out at all Jannah Hotels & Resorts properties on March 28, as the hotels marked Earth Hour with ‘connect2earth’, a symbolic tribute to WWF’s annual environmental awareness event.

Jannah Burj Al Sarab in Abu Dhabi, Jannah Marina Bay Suites, Jannah Place Dubai Marina and Jannah Creekside Dubai, and Jannah Ras Al Khaimah hit the light switches in support of action on climate change through Earth Hour participation.

Richard Haddad, CEO of Jannah Hotels and Resorts, said: “Earth Hour is a significant global event where people all around the world unite in drawing attention to the future of our planet and its resources and this year Jannah Hotels decided to go digital in support of the UAE community amidst the ongoing health crisis as a result of COVID-19. We switch off the lights for an hour and tune in online at www.earthhour.ae live stream"

He added: “At Jannah, we are dedicated to taking steps to ensure the environmental sustainability of the planet, not just for one hour, but throughout the entire year.”

“In addition, we have installed systems that regulate water usage and AC efficiency, while our talents are trained to avoid wasting paper and other resources,” Haddad said. - TradeArabia News Service
