Sheraton Oman names new GM

Sheraton Oman Hotel, the iconic landmark of the sultanate, has appointed Aytekin Karayaka as the property’s new general manager.

He brings nearly three decades of experience to his new role, and was most recently the general manager at Renaissance Istanbul Polat Bosphorus Hotel, which is also a part of the Marriott International brand.

Karayaka, who has held a variety of positions in the industry, is a widely respected, highly motivated and dynamic hotel management professional with a true passion for excellence.

In his new role, Karayaka will administer the entire hotel management and operations, and set strategic plans to continue realising the hotel’s revenue, functional and hospitality goals.
