Elaf renews GSA ties with Biman Bangladesh

Elaf Group has recently renewed their contract wth Biman Airlines and will continue to serve as the official General Sales Agent (GSA) of the airlines in the western region of Saudi Arabia.

The contract renewal, which extends the 16-year relationship, was marked with Elaf Group and Biman Airlines jointly introducing Biman’s brand new aircraft, the B787 Dreamliner to its valued trade partners at Movenpick Hotel in Madinah on October 26.

The aircraft seats 24 passengers in business class and 247 passengers in economy class. Operating on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, Biman provides its passengers a convenient option of three direct flights to Dhaka and one to Chittagong with great connections to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Katmandu and many more.

Biman Airlines and Elaf Group are committed to meet the growing demand of passengers from both countries, said Ziad Ahmed Bin Mahfouz, chief executive officer of Elaf Group.

Bin Mahfouz added that the four times a week schedule will also support the growing number of pilgrims going to Saudi Arabia from Bangladesh. The kingdom continues to experience a remarkable growth in flight and hotel bookings resulting from the government’s decision to ease the visa procedure, which falls in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision of 2030. - TradeArabia News Service
