Aloft Dubai South, the first boutique hotel in the heart of Aviation City, is planning to widen its market reach as the property aggressively prepares for the opening of the much-anticipated Expo 2020 Dubai.
Aloft Dubai South enjoys a prominent location within the Dubai South project, identified as the emirate’s largest and leading global trade, business and aviation hub.
“We are located in a destination that will soon become the hub for huge businesses and we are confident that the year 2020 will be another rewarding year for Aloft Dubai South,” said Aditya Rajaram, managing director, Radar Holding, the owning company of Aloft Dubai South.
“We will soon implement strategies that will further increase awareness with business clients whilst strengthening our local community engagement. The aim is to offer ease and convenience to thousands of residents and guests visiting the Expo.”
The management will be working with government agencies to offer customised services by providing free shuttle buses to the exhibition site for both in-house and outside guests. Plans are also underway for the hotel to become a ticketing venue for fast and quick entry to the facilities.
“We will create packages that will offer unique experiences while promoting the theme of Expo 2020 which is sustainability, opportunity and mobility. Given our ties to the exemplary Marriott brand, we will continue to connect our guests with unrivalled, authentic hospitality experience present in all Aloft hotels worldwide,” added Rajaram.
Situated near the Expo 2020 site and right across from the soon-to-open Emaar South community, the 145-room Aloft Dubai South has successfully positioned itself as the new go-to hub in the area for accommodation and food and beverage during its first year of operation.
“Since opening a year ago, Aloft Dubai South has enjoyed a reputation of being the place to go for business meetings and casual gatherings within the immediate neighbourhood and business districts,” said Elaine Watson, cluster general manager, Aloft Dubai South.
“We have welcomed VIPs and dignitaries and have achieved fantastic guest reviews. Our outstanding operations team lead by Ahmed Ibrahim have truly been the driving force behind ensuring the first year of operation has been smooth.
“As we enter our second year of business, we look forward to continuing to grow our presence in the market and welcoming additional business and leisure travellers visiting the neighbourhood. With our location, we will see our hotel bustling with activity as the city prepares for the opening of the once-in-a-lifetime Expo 2020. We are excited to grow our presence and maintain our position as the preferred accommodation choice for visitors to Dubai South district,” added Watson.
In addition to corporate clients, Aloft Dubai South will target the incoming residents of Emaar South, which features more than 15,000 residences as well as individuals working at the Al Maktoum International Airport, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub and the nearby Logistics district which is home to E-Z Dubai, a 920,000-sq-m integrated e-commerce hub. – TradeArabia News Service
