Bahrain lines up fun-filled activities for Saudi National Day

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) will be hosting a series of fun-filled activities in celebration of Saudi Arabia’s 89th National Day over a period of five days, starting from September 19 until September 23.

BTEA’s line-up of activities include a number of fun events such as fireworks, traditional sailboats sporting Saudi and Bahraini flags, in addition to musical performances by traditional bands amongst many other activities.

“On the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s National Day, which we hold very close to our hearts, we would like to express our congratulations to the wise leadership and the people of Saudi Arabia. We also welcome all visitors and residents to participate in the celebrations which will be held over a period of five days across the Kingdom of Bahrain,” said Tourism Advisor at BTEA, Dr Ali Follad.

“We strive to host family-oriented events all year round, especially during weekends, in line with our efforts to develop the local tourism sector and enhance Bahrain’s leading position on the global tourism map. We will continue to work closely with our representative office in Riyadh to create even more unique tourism products with an aim to attract tourists to Bahrain, further boosting the national economy," he added.

Hosting the event comes in line with BTEA’s long term strategy to further develop the kingdom’s tourism sector and strengthen its position on a regional and international level under the slogan of ‘Ours.Yours.’, which contributes towards the kingdom’s economy and the 2030 Economic Vision. - TradeArabia News Service
