Amadeus Oman welcomes new team member

Amadeus has appointed Karim Eldeghedy to join its team in Oman as senior manager - pre-sales and solutions adoption.

With over 20 years of experience, Eldeghedy will oversee pre-sales activities and Amadeus’ leading IT projects within the country, with a specific focus in global distribution systems (GDS) in the tourism sector. Eldeghedy also brings to Amadeus customers in Oman a compelling product and solutions background thanks to his 15 years spent in solutions management.

He is relocating to Oman from Amadeus’ Mena regional office in Dubai, UAE, where he has realised a strong track record of business growth and customer satisfaction for the past five years. Eldeghedy has previously worked with other large multinational companies such as Sabre Travel Network Middle East and the Bahrain Institute of Technology.

“Today Oman is one of the most promising markets in the Mena region for Amadeus and represents a huge untapped potential for the company. I look forward to working with our established team in the sultanate and our partners across the Oman travel industry to power even better travel journeys moving forward,” said Eldeghedy.

Today Amadeus builds some of the most critical solutions that help airlines and airports, hotels, search engines, travel agencies, tour operators and other travel players to run their operations, with dedicated staff covering more than 190 countries worldwide. - TradeArabia News Service
