Raffles Dubai welcomes new leadership team members

Raffles Dubai, a landmark luxury hotel in the UAE emirate, has announced two senior appointments.

Evita Chidiac joins as director of rooms and Marina Kutskaya has been appointed as spa manager.

As director of rooms, Chidiac is responsible for overseeing all rooms division functions at Raffles Dubai and leading the teams to elevate guest satisfaction scores towards commercially impactful outcomes. With 15 years of managerial experience in luxury hospitality, she joins the property from the Arlo Soho hotel in New York City, where she was director of rooms and a pre-opening team member since March 2016.

Chidiac started her career as an assistant housekeeping manager for the Parker Meridien in New York, and worked her way up in landmark properties in the city including Jumeirah Essex House Hotel (now Marriott), Fairmont The Plaza, Hilton Fashion District, and The Manhattan Affinia Collection, where she has overseen successful refurbishments in all properties.

Kutskaya joins Raffles Dubai as spa manager and will oversee the spa, fitness centre, and pool operations, as well as contribute to the Raffles Spa brand. With over 10 years of experience, Kutskaya started her career in Ukraine before moving to Dubai in 2013, where she worked at the Armani Hotel Dubai as a spa supervisor. She was promoted to assistant spa manager a year later and joined the Melia Desert Palm Boutique in 2016 as spa manager, where she successfully launched a new spa concept for the brand.

Ayman Gharib, managing director for Raffles Dubai, said: “We are delighted to welcome Evita and Marina who will fulfil exciting and challenging roles, which I am confident they can deliver on given their extensive experience respectively with leading luxury hospitality brands. We are proud that our Executive Leadership team reflects balanced gender diversity and fervently supports AccorHotels commitment to diversity in the workplace.” - TradeArabia News Service
