The Merchant House, part of the Campbell Gray Hotels group, and a luxurious all-suite boutique hotel in Manama, Bahrain, said it has started taking bookings even as it gears up for the property’s official opening next month.  

 

The Merchant House is the latest addition to the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) portfolio.

 

A first of its kind in Bahrain, The Merchant House, is Campbell Gray Hotels’ debut property in the GCC, following on from the success of Le Gray in Beirut.

The Merchant House features 46 suites, each with an open plan kitchen and dining area, as well as open plan sitting rooms. Designed for both business and leisure, The Merchant House is one of the most interesting new additions to the charming city of Manama,  said the statement from Campbell.

The location places guests just steps away from the atmospheric Manama Souk, a maze of market shops selling everything from spices to souvenirs and home decorations.

Reservations are now being accepted for arrivals from January 14.
