Al Mannai Plus Events, the organising company of Qatar International Boat Show, has signed a sponsorship agreement with Qatar National Bank (QNB), naming the bank as the official sponsor of the fifth edition of the exhibition, set to take place this week.
The event, scheduled from March 13 – 17 at the Pearl-Qatar Island, will be held under the auspices of the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.
During the press conference, Khalid Issa Al Mannai, chairman, Al Mannai Plus Events, said: “I would like to thank Qatar National Bank (QNB) for their support for the largest event of its kind in the Middle East. Since its inception, the event has been able to garner an amazing response from the fraternity and has brought Qatar among one of the leading destinations for organising such grand exhibitions. With such partnerships, we are sure to further the economic growth momentum of Qatar.”
“I would also like to thank Al Fardan Sports Motors – the official dealer of Maserati in Qatar for their exclusive partnership with Qatar International Boat Show and the Official Car of the show. I would like to extend my gratitude to the Ritz Carlton Hotel Doha for being the official hotel for the show,” he added.
Fadi Al Yousfi, director, Qatar International Boat Show 2018, said: “We have been able to set a record in attracting leading manufacturers and exhibitors from across the globe who are specialized in the manufacturing and promotion of boats and luxury yachts. More than 70 exhibitors have been registered so far and going by the growing popularity the number is set to increase in the next three days.”
“We are anticipating an unprecedented turnout in this year’s edition of QIBS especially as it is located in an amazing and accessible area of the Pearl Island – Qatar. In order to offer a unique experience to our participating companies, we will be hosting various interesting activities such as marine tours, prizes, water activities, marine races and relevant seminars, etc., “he added.
