RJ launches new online premium services

Starting today, Royal Jordanian Airlines will offer three online services to its guests, in order to enhance their travel experience at all stages.

The services, which can be purchased through RJ website, include:
1. "Crown Lounge Pass" for economy class passengers
2. “Go Crown”, a Crown class online bidding programme
3, “Royal Boutique”, an onboard duty free service and online duty free purchase programme prior to the flight.

Royal Jordanian president/CEO Stefan Pichler said that these services are another milestone to enhance the travel experience of all guests by offering unbundled and flexible services. “We at RJ will follow and listen to our guests and make our products available in a convenient way. Shopping RJ online saves time and effort. Our guests should be able to tailor their trip according to their needs.”

Go Crown is an online bidding program that allows passengers holding confirmed economy class tickets to place a bid to upgrade to crown class with low prices in simple steps from the comfort of their home.

Economy class passengers can also electronically buy a “Lounge Pass” to access the Crown Lounge at Queen Alia International Airport for $39, enabling its holders to enjoy the Crown Lounge services three hours before their departure.

RJ also gives its arriving and departing guests the opportunity to electronically shop duty free branded products at “Royal Boutique” before their flights.

Royal Jordanian started providing the duty free on board sale service last year on most of its long- and medium-haul flights by cooperating with the DFASS International Group. - TradeArabia News Service
