Iconic New York restaurant to open in Dubai

Located within the iconic Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Le Cirque promises classic French fare with an Italian twist, where taste and dining experience are paramount.

Opening April 12, the concept has taken influence from the original menu that has been developed by some of the world’s most notable chefs. With Daniel Boulud, David Bouley and Christophe Bellanca all taking the helm of the New York kitchen throughout the decades, Le Cirque Dubai offers a modest approach with fresh, light and contemporary â la carte dishes.

With Le Cirque signatures including Lobster Risotto and Crème Brulee alongside new creations, such as the Roasted Lamb Rack with seasonal vegetables and pommes puree, alongside homemade Cappeletti stuffed with Torteau crab and served with crab gratin, head chef, Manuel Olveira Seller and his team have developed an extensive menu to compliment Dubai’s diverse culinary scene. Starter dishes include lighter options such as Salad Le Cirque with Mesclun leaves, avocado, marinated tomatoes, cucumber crostini & mustard dressing and Marinated Grilled Octopus with chickpea, green pea & marinated cherry tomatoes. Home to a sociable bar area, guests are drawn into the atmosphere by the personable bar team who are on hand to creating Le Cirque’s take on classic beverages such La Giostra, inspired by the Americano, along with guest’s personal favourites.

With a career that began in the 1960’s, Sirio Maccioni dazzled New York with his charm and acumen for hospitality, building up a reputable status amongst New York’s elite and celebrities alike, keeping Le Cirque on the social pages of newspapers and magazines. His expertise lay in working the room and both his suave manor and meticulous attention to detail propelled Le Cirque into the epicentre of grand dining. In true Maccioni fashion, Le Cirque Dubai’s service is founded on his ethos.

Adopting a personal style, the team at Le Cirque Dubai offer an unrivalled service to create an exquisite dining experience from beginning to end. Over the years, monkeys, circus balls and tent shades have become symbolic representations of the restaurant, but Le Cirque’s most recognizable feature is the Maccioni family themselves with Sirio’s sons, Marco and Mauro, following in their father’s footsteps.

With terrace views, their winter garden boasts scenic surroundings and is perfect for both lunch and dinner settings. Guests who wish to have more of an intimate dining experience can book the semi-private dining area with a banquet table that accommodates up to 20 guests at any one time.
