Jumbo steps up DSF excitement with promotional offers

Jumbo Electronics, a key sponsor of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), has stepped up the shopping excitement during DSF by giving residents and visitors the opportunity to choose from an exciting range of bundled offers, deals and promotions.

Nadeem Khanzadah, head-Omni Channel Retail, Jumbo Group, stressed that DSF was an important part of the retail calendar in the UAE and that Jumbo Electronics’ DSF season performance becomes an integral part of the company’s estimations for annual sales targets.

Speaking about the popular electronics products and items during DSF, Khanzadah said that smartphones continue to be a top choice, especially with the additional value shoppers can avail on popular models. Other product categories that are also in high demand during this DSF include tablets and laptops.

The change in consumer preferences over the year, said Khanzadah, is in sync with general trends in the consumer electronics sector. During the first few DSF editions, Jumbo saw maximum sales in the camera and television categories. In recent times, with the rise in popularity of smart devices, we see a majority of the customers choosing to buy smartphones and tablets at discounted rates during DSF. As such, consumers tend to replace products at lower costs more often than higher-priced electronics such as DSLRs and televisions, which also impacts their buying decisions during the event.

Moreover, Jumbo has witnessed a 15 per cent rise in footfalls to Jumbo stores during the shopping festival with customers coming from all over the world, including other GCC nations, Europe, Africa and China.

To further promote sales, Jumbo is offering visitors a chance to win half-a-kilo of gold every week and 20 gm gold coins every day during DSF. In addition, shoppers can avail value added offers and bundled deals on a number of popular consumer electronics, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, cameras and televisions, among others. – TradeArabia News Service
