The UAE national carrier Etihad Airways will be holding 11 recruitment days across Europe next month seeking individuals with outstanding hospitality experience to join its cabin crew.

The international recruitment days will be held in five different cities around the world, including CV drop assessments in London (UK), Milan and Rome (Italy), Kiev (Ukraine) and Belgrade (Serbia), said a statement from Etihad.

In Abu Dhabi, the airline will hold invitation-only assessments on February 4, 11, 18 and 25 and open days for food and beverage managers and inflight chefs on February 9 and 23, it stated.

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier said the recruitment days will offer potential applicants the opportunity to meet Etihad Airways’ recruitment specialists who will provide comprehensive information about living in the UAE capital and the dynamics of working with guests at 40,000 feet.

Etihad Airways employs over 4,000 cabin crew representing 115 nationalities, it added.

Mark Scoble, the acting vice president (Guest Services), said: "To support the rapid growth of Etihad, we are hosting our recruitment drive in these cities, all of which are strategically important markets for the airline. In each we are expecting talented individuals with hospitality skills to join us at the recruitment days."

The international cabin crew recruitment days will held as per the following schedule: Kiev - February 11; London - February 15; Belgrade - February 16; Milan - February 22 and Rome - February 25.

"Our cabin crew team hails from more than 115 nationalities and benefits from extensive training and development, with tremendous career opportunities and new life experiences in the UAE," he noted.

In addition to a comprehensive training program, cabin crew are provided with company medical insurance, transport, uniforms and fully furnished company accommodation, and are all based in the modern and vibrant surroundings of Abu Dhabi, said a statement from the national airline.

Abu Dhabi is home to a wealth of leisure, sports and entertainment activities, including the popular Yas Marina Circuit - home to the F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the sporting arena of Zayed Sports City, and world class restaurants.-TradeArabia News Service
