Kempinski Hotels, which currently operates the Kempinski Grand and Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre, has announced an expansion programme to include new locations in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

 

New hotels in Lebanon, Egypt, Ghana, China, Qatar and Equatorial Guinea were revealed during the company's annual GCC road show, which started in Saudi Arabia before coming to Bahrain, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

 

The GDN reported last month that Kempinski Hotels will cease to manage the hotel in Bahrain City Centre on June 30. 

 

However, general manager Puneet Singh said the group hoped to return to Bahrain in "an appropriate location, at an appropriate time." - TradeArabia News Service
