Indian Premier Modi to visit UAE, Bahrain

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a three-day visit to the UAE and Bahrain on Friday.
 
Modi will first visit the UAE and will discuss with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, prospects to enhance the long-standing friendly relations and strategic co-operation between the UAE and India, said a Wam news agency report.
 
They will also discuss the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual concern.
Modi's debut two-day visit to Bahrain will start on Saturday. Historic bilateral ties and regional issues will be on the agenda of his talks with His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
 
He will be accompanied by a delegation of senior officials.
 
His Majesty King Hamad will host a dinner banquet in honour of the Indian Prime Minister, who will also launch the renovation of the Sreenathji (Shree Krishna) temple in Manama.
 
Modi will also address the Indian community members in Bahrain. Registration for the event can be made via a dedicated website. The event will be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre. There are about 350,000 Indian nationals in Bahrain.
