Element Al Jaddaf, ZeeArts partner for art therapy

Element Al Jaddaf, part of Marriott International, has partnered with ZeeArts, a global art incubator based in Dubai, to offer guests and the general public an opportunity to experience their Women Art Therapy on March 8.

From 4pm to 6:30pm, ZeeArts founder, artist, and activist, Zaahirah Muthy will host the Women Art Therapy at the hotel with an aim to help foster healing and mental well-being.

ZeeArts believes ‘art’ is a?catalyst?for social change. The organisation actively empowers artists and helps increase awareness of their art with the message it conveys across the world. ZeeArts is well known for promoting inclusivity for the betterment of society, where women are empowered and given a platform or space to express themselves.

Richard Bleakley, Multi-property General Manager, Element Al Jaddaf said: “Wellness is something that is at the heart of the Element Al Jaddaf, and art, of course, is recognized across the world as a brilliant method of telling stories and sharing emotions that are otherwise hard to express.

“We are excited to partner with ZeeArts to offer our in-house guests and the public an enjoyable and effective experience with the Women Art Therapy that allows women to express themselves in a beautiful and liberating way.”

Keeping in mind this year’s campaign theme, ‘Choose to Challenge’, the Women Art Therapy is designed to embolden women to challenge themselves by embracing their flaws and hardships along with the strength, beauty, and resilience.

Taking place at the pool terrace, overlooking the most stunning views of the Dubai skyline and Al Jaddaf waterfront, the art therapy session will incorporate the colour ‘purple’ as the official colour of 2021 International Women’s Day. All participating guests are encouraged to use the colour in its various hues on a canvas to express their inner most thoughts, emotions, struggles, and happiness. Participants need not worry about bringing anything at all, as all materials will be provided at the hotel.

Zaahirah Muthy, artists, activist, and founder of ZeeArts said: “The Women Art Therapy aims to accomplish three crucial points: release pain, process hidden emotions, and find clarity and meaning in oneself. This session is a process that connects us to our true selves so to create and celebrate ourselves, which in turn generates a sense of healing and gratification.

“I believe that celebrating women should be an everyday occurrence. We, at ZeeArts, recognise and commend women’s challenges, accomplishments, and journeys through art, and I am personally thrilled to collaborate with Element Al Jaddaf and share this experience with even more women.”

After the session, guests can enjoy delicious canape style food and healthy juices and drinks from Element Al Jaddaf’s very own Café 29.

Additionally, in celebration of the International Women’s Day, all female guests at the hotel can dine at Café 29 with a 50 percent discount on their total bill, only on March 8. – TradeArabia News Service
