Deloitte launches Jordan Digital Centre

Deloitte launched the Jordan Digital Centre (JDC), the Amman based state-of-the-art facility providing professional consulting, digital and technology services to clients across the Middle East market.

The launch of JDC is a strategic move in the growth plans of the renowned professional services organisation, scaling up its investment in local talent and delivering impact to clients.

The launch event was held under the patronage of Crown Prince of Jordan, Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, who said: “The launch of the Deloitte Jordan Delivery Centre is a great example of leading international companies investing in Jordan’s talent, further strengthening Jordan’s position as a regional and international digital hub. The centre will provide learning, development, and growth opportunities that will help our youth succeed in the digital age.”

Technology solutions
The JDC will offer clients a range of technology solutions from digital transformation, data and analytics, human capital, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), advertising, marketing and E-commerce. The centre will tailor client specific solutions to address a wide range of challenges facing the regional public and private sectors, positioning it as a leading regional digital centre.

"The Jordan Digital Centre expands Deloitte's presence in the digital and technology space in the region, following the launch of the Deloitte Digital Centre in Riyadh and the Deloitte Digital Studio in Dubai. JDC will enhance our offerings of high-quality professional service and will enable us to continue to provide world class business solutions to a wider range of clients across the Middle East,” said Rashid Bashir, CEO of Consulting at Deloitte Middle East.

"This state-of-the-art digital centre represents an exciting opportunity for growth for the regional business eco system and I’m looking forward to hearing about the centre’s future success stories. Over the next few years, we expect JDC to be home for about 350 professionals, who will play an active role in the work we’re doing for some of the most iconic projects that we run across our key regional markets," he added.

Local talent
In addition to expanding Deloitte's presence in the digital and technology space, the JDC will also be focused on recruiting and nurturing local and international talent.
