Bahrain Network (BNET), the national telecommunications infrastructure company, has obtained (ISO 27001 certificate) the international standard for information security management for the second year in a row. The firm successfully completed all requirements and obtained official accreditation by Bureau Veritas accredited provider of ISO inspection, certification and training services.
BNET’s obtaining a high level international certificate for the second year in a row is an affirmation of the quality and effectiveness of BNET's information security management systems, as well as the enhancement the of governance and oversight, shedding light on BNET’s ongoing efforts and endeavours to enhance security frameworks by implementing security measures with internationally recognised standards, with the aim of managing customer data, protecting the national telecommunication infrastructure from cyber-attacks and adhering to maintaining Telecommunications Regulatory Authority regulations.
