50 Bahraini tech firms to take part in Gitex 2021

The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTech) and WorkSmart for Events Management, in strategic partnership with the kingdom's labour fund, Tamkeen have launched their arrangements to organise the Bahraini National Pavilion in Gitex 2021. 
 
The leading tech exhibition and conference in the Middle East, Gitex will run from October 17 to 21 under the slogan “Creating a bolder digital future together.”
 
A total of 50 Bahraini tech companies are expected to take part in addition to several government institutions related to the ICT technology sector.
 
BTech Chairman Ubaydli Ubaydli said: "As Bahrain national pavilion organisers, we are keen to make this year’s participation exceptional in terms of increasing the pavilion’s floor space for a better experience of the Bahraini participation."
 
"We are aiming that this year’s would offer participants a distinctive strategic location to guarantee exceptional and productive participation for their enterprises in Gitex 2021," he noted.
 
The organizers seek to promote Bahraini entrepreneurs who participate in the pavilion alongside their counterparts from various other countries. 
 
"Gitex organizers have always devoted a wide space to display the products and services of ICT startups as the size of the economy of startups has reached 3 trillion dollars worldwide," he added.
 
Lauding Tamkeen for its continuous support for Bahrain National Pavilion at Gitex, Ubaydli said: "It has always contributed to achieving fruitful results to develop the business of participating Bahraini companies and establishing Bahraini startups on the right track."
 
WorkSmart CEO Ahmed Al Hujairy said: "We want to build on the successes that have been accomplished through Bahrain’s participation for 14 years in Gitex, including participation in the last session of the exhibition despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic."
 
"We are keen to ensure that Bahraini entrepreneurs and ICT companies are at the center of global developments of modern tech trends, including “Fintech”, AI, smart city developments, besides remote education, the future of transportation and supply chain, and the use of blockchain technology in many sectors such as education, health care, and general government administration among others," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
