Cyber security market to hit $101bn in 3 years

The worldwide cybersecurity market is expected to reach $101 billion by 2018 as cyber security is becoming complex day-by-day with cyber criminals trying different ways to breach corporate networks, according to a report by Gartner.

Organizations find it difficult to keep pace with cyber criminals as security products like antivirus, firewalls and Intrusion detection/prevention systems are breached on a regular basis, said Aji Joseph, general manager of RadarServices Middle East, a leading managed security provider.

RadarServices will exhibit its next-generation IT Risk Detection and IT Security Monitoring solutions this Gitex 2015, a major IT expo running from October 18 to 22 at Dubai World Trade Center.

“IT security is a growing concern within organizations focusing on technology innovation and development in the region. This Gitex we will exhibit our latest IT Security Monitoring services to address the growing security challenges faced by companies as well as government authorities in the region,” explained Joseph.

“Organizations across different verticals in the region have sustained damage from cyber-attacks as cyber-criminals are trying different ways to breach corporate networks. Maintaining an in-house IT Security team becomes a challenge for majority of the organizations as the team needs to be constantly trained on the new threats and challenges.  However, Security as managed service helps organizations to stay secure with proper guidance from experts and technology in a cost effective way.”

The vendor will unveil its new service for IT Security Monitoring that protects organization from Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and Targeted Attacks. Furthermore the IT Security Monitoring service provides organization with a continuous 360-degree security overview.  – TradeArabia News Service
