Metso Outotec, a newly formed company specialising in sustainable minerals and metals processing and recycling technologies, has started its operations today (July 1).
The new company is headquartered in Finland and employs over 15,000 people across 50 countries worldwide and its combined sales for 2019 were about EUR 4.2 billion ($6.8 billion).
Metso Outotec, which has been formed following the merger of Metso’s Mineral business with Outotec, offers crushing and screening equipment for the production of aggregates as well as equipment and solutions for minerals processing, metals refining, chemical processing, and metal and waste recycling.
Its industry-leading service capabilities and global network are complemented with a comprehensive range of spare and wear parts, refurbishments and professional services, a statement said.
