Alba organises training programme for 140 employees

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the Bahrain-based aluminium smelter, said that more than 140 employees recently completed their training programme as per Alba’s Master Training Plan.

In line with the plan, the employees were identified for internal promotions based on their Skills Matrix and Training & Development Programme (TDP) as well as their initiatives at work and potential for growth.

Alba’s acting chief executive officer Ali Al Baqali said: “Employees, our human assets, are key to our company’s success.”

“While we continue to grow as the world’s largest aluminium smelter ex-China, we believe that our employees must evolve to fulfil Alba aspirations,” he said.

“Our training plan is in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and aims to boost Bahrainisation across all levels within the company,” he added.

The company launched the Master Training Plan in October 2019 with the aim to create a customised training plan for every job and employee in the company. Alba through the plan will further emphasise its position as a leading employer of choice for Bahrainis, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
