NGN to contribute to ‘opportunities programme’

Bahrain-based NGN International, a leading IT systems company, has confirmed its readiness to actively contribute to the “opportunities programme” sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

 The programme is one of the initiatives of the National Sector Development Program to support youth in Bahrain "Istegaba", said a statement.

Yacoub Al Awadhi, CEO of NGN International, praised the efforts of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) for launching this distinctive programme and supporting Bahraini youth in various fields.

Al Awadi stressed the importance of this programme in light of the current economic conditions and changes, adding that the program comes at a time when there is an increasing trend towards the training of national cadres, qualifying and fully relying on them in various sectors.

This requires the preparation of young people to fill various types of jobs in the labour market with competence and competence, said a statement.

He said that this motivates NGN to be at the forefront of companies and institutions that provide grants and training opportunities for Bahraini youth within the framework of the "opportunities" programme, and in order to achieve the objective of this programme in developing the capabilities of national cadres and enhance their skills and hone their expertise through specialised courses in various fields.

To increase the efficiency of youth and build confidence through applied skills that help young people to innovate, build the future and prepare them to enter the labour market and lead entrepreneurship.

Al-Awadhi pointed out that NGN's specialisation in information technology, cybersecurity, virtual reality and other advanced areas allows it to contribute effectively to this program by harnessing technology to raise the technical level of young Bahraini trainees and motivate them to move towards entrepreneurship.

NGN has extensive partnerships with several leading ICT companies around the world, providing training opportunities for Bahraini youth in those companies outside Bahrain as well.

The CEO of NGN concluded by stressing the importance of effective partnership between government entities based on these programs on the one hand and the institutions and companies of the private sector by attracting young Bahraini job seekers and opening opportunities to train and gain the required experience in their careers, reflecting the realisation of these companies and institutions for the importance and preference of investment in the national human element, reflected positively on the wheel of the national economy, and complies with the vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain 2030, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
