Adidas Football and Manchester United, one of the most popular football clubs in the world, have announced the release of United’s new away shirt for the 2019/20 season.
The shirt features a fresh savannah-toned aesthetic and intricate patterned design that takes its inspiration from the many mosaics that colour the streets of Manchester’s creative district, the Northern Quarter, said a statement from the company.
Standing out with a new colour palette, the striking new away shirt continues to blur the lines between sport and style, blending both cultures into a single piece of design.
Influenced by the unique artwork of the Northern Quarter, the city is embedded deep within the design - the base colour is overlaid with a subtle pattern, said the statement from Adidas.
The clean Savannah colour is paired with a minimal black secondary colour that adorns the adidas three stripes on the shoulders, a modern crewneck collar, a trimmed hem and the club’s iconic badge.
Offering peak performance innovation, the kit features ClimaLite technology to wick sweat and is made from 100 per cent polyester, it stated.
The Manchester United players are joined by local music artist Aitch, in the launch film for the kit. A Manchester native and United fan, Aitch has written a track to celebrate the launch which he performs in the video which can be seen on adidas and Manchester United’s social channels.-TradeArabia News Service
