Otero's appointment comes as part of a major revamp by the group which saw naming of several regional presidents besides other key organisational changes in the global structure of the company.

As a result, the group has appointed new regional presidents and set up a different global organisation and leadership structure, including newly-created global groups responsible for engineering, procurement and strategy.
