Bright Box, a global vendor of connected vehicle services, has appointed Ismail Makhlouf as the managing director of its office in Dubai, UAE.

Makhlouf will be in charge of business development and operations in the Middle East, said a statement from the company.

Makhlouf, who has over 14 years automotive industry sales expertise to offer Bright Box, joins the company from Nissan Middle East, where he was deputy general manager for product marketing, with the roll of overseeing and managing the full Nissan Line up across the Middle East and Levant markets including the launch and deployment of the Nissan SmartCar (Remoto solution) in the UAE, it said.

Ismail holds a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Studies from Cairo University and an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management (MSM) in the Netherlands.
