Airbus Little Engineer workshops at Bahrain air show

The Airbus Foundation, in partnership with the Bahrain Ministry of Transportation & Telecommunications (MTT), is holding a series of Airbus Little Engineer Workshops at this year’s Bahrain International Airshow.

Around 100 students, aged between 13 and 16, will participate in the workshops held daily at the air show’s public area from November 14 until November 17.

The learners will dive into the exciting world of aviation and engineering. During the four-hour sessions, the students will learn to identify the key components that are needed to build an A380 aircraft, and familiarise themselves with the assembly as well as manufacture processes of the world’s biggest passenger airliner.

The Airbus Little Engineer programme is designed to ignite a passion for technology, with a view to promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning.
Following a collaboration agreement with the MTT, more than 250 students have participated in the Airbus Little Engineer workshops held in Bahrain. - TradeArabia News Service
