Meraas launches first residential units at Dubai Design District

Meraas, a key developer of premium destinations, has announced the launch of the first homes at Dubai Design District (d3). The key residential community in the creative hub will offer a selection of one-, two, and three-bedroom lofts, duplexes and penthouses with views of Dubai Water Canal.

Meraas, a leading developer of top-class destinations and real estate projects, has launched Design Quarter at Design District (d3), a member of Tecom Group and a cornerstone of Dubai’s creative economy.

Strategically located in the heart of the city, and just 10 minutes from Downtown Dubai, Design Quarter at d3 offers a selection of modern one-, two, and three-bedroom lofts, duplexes, and penthouses with views of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Water Canal.

In the first phase, Design Quarter will feature 558 units across three towers with two podiums from G+10 up to G+43, it stated.

According to Meraas, the construction on the project will begin this year and is due for completion in mid-2027.

The first premium residential community set within the region’s leading creative hub, d3 will be home to some of the leading creative brands, designers, studios and entrepreneurs.

It also hosts a dynamic calendar of events and experiences, including the iconic Dubai Design Week, Dubai Fashion Week (formerly Arab Fashion Week), and Sole DXB, to promote the region’s design scene and strengthen Dubai’s creative economy.

Marking its foray into the global creative business district, Meraas said it was breaking new ground in Dubai’s real estate market by offering residents and investors an unprecedented opportunity to live at this vibrant location.

Besides being at the heart of Dubai’s creative community, residents will get to enjoy the creative vibe of the district with its high-end fashion, lifestyle boutiques, art galleries, studios, and the variety of popular restaurants and cafes, it noted.

The new residential offering creates a sense of permanence. It’s the heart of the neighbourhood, and holistically completes the project by adding the third most crucial pillar to any mixed-use project – live – thus envisioning a space that people want to use 24x7, it added.

Dubai Holding Real Estate CEO Khalid Al Malik said: "Meraas, over the years, has cemented itself as a creator of unique, exciting destinations and living experiences. Developing the first residential offering at d3 naturally aligns with our vision to design spaces in places for people to experience and love life, as we introduce, for the first time ever, the concept of creative living for a community."

"With Design Quarter at d3, we continue to fulfill our commitment to create and consistently deliver world-class residential real estate projects and master developments that strengthen Dubai's position as the global real estate investment destination of choice," he stated.

Al Malik said the sales launch event that took place this weekend at d3, witnesased tremendous response from potential buyers and the community.

Aligning with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, residents will have access to the best-in-class amenities including a double-level infinity pool, gym, gardens connected with jogging tracks, tennis courts, and basketball courts, all encouraging an active way of life, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
