Dur Hospitality announces big Saudi expansion plan

Saudi Arabia's Dur Hospitality is pursuing an expansion plan that aims to keep up with the growing tourism sector and the increasing demand for hotel services in the kingdom, said senior officials at a recent industry event.
 
Dur has been boosting its investments in the sector through local development projects which help accelerate economic growth, achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 as well as solidify the kingdom’s position as a leading hub for business and entertainment, stated its President of Hotels Operations Hassan Al Ahdab while speaking on the sidelines of the Future Hospitality Summit in Riyadh. 
 
The group's plan includes 15 new hotel and real estate development projects, he added. 
 
As a strategic partner, the Saudi hospitality group had played a key role at the two-day event held under the theme 'Reimagined Horizons' offering key insights into prospects for growth and development in the hospitality industry
across the region and Saudi Arabia.
 
In his opening address, CEO Sultan bin Badr Al Otaibi said Dur remains fully committed to advancing the tourism and hospitality industry, especially at a time when Saudi Arabia is undergoing large-scale transformation and witnessing significant developments that yield immense benefits for all stakeholders in this sector. 
 
Its portfolio currently includes over 32 hotel and residential properties, commercial plazas and entertainment centers in various regions across the kingdom, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
