Saudi non-oil merchandise exports up 26.4% in July

The value of non-oil exports (including re-exports) from Saudi Arabia during July surged to hit SR27 billion ($7.3 billion), up 26.4% compared to the last year's figures of SR21 billion ($5.7 billion), according to data released by General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
The value of merchandise imports during July reached SR55 billion compared to SR47 billion with an increase of SR8 billion  thus registering a percentage of 18.3%.
According to GASTAT, the value of merchandise exports in Saudi Arabia during July surged by 58% to SR141 billion compared to SR89 billion last year, with an increase of SR52 billion.
The publication results indicated that the value of oil exports for the month reached SR114 billion from last year's figure of SR67 billion, thus registering an increase of SR47 billion (68.9%), it added.-TradeArabia News Service
