World-class speakers will discuss gather to support the growth of financial services industry in Abu Dhabi and the Mena region at the upcoming second edition FinTech Abu Dhabi Summit in the UAE capital.
Organised and curated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the award-winning international financial centre, the summit will be held at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr Hotel on September 17.
ADGM announced today (August 12) that the Summit is open for registration.
Richard Teng, CEO of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of ADGM, said: “Innovation, including FinTech and digital transformation, is part of ADGM’s DNA. It influences and shapes our service offerings and regulatory framework. As an ecosystem developer, we aim to support Abu Dhabi’s leading position as the FinTech hub and nexus for the Mena area.”
“This year’s Summit will focus on innovation adoption where our corporate partners will work closely with FinTech firms to create deployable solutions that will transform the financial services landscape. The Summit provides a compelling and unique platform where regional regulators come together to jointly review and address key issues affecting the market.
“Financial services providers and innovators can explore and introduce transformational changes, enabling them to re-engineer their business models. It looks at how financial institutions and innovators can harness regulations and infrastructures to develop new customer propositions. We look forward to supporting innovation in the local and global community to create sustainable growth,” he added.
For FinTech start-ups, ADGM has specially tailored a brand new addition segment - the FinTech Abu Dhabi Bootcamp Day on September 16, featuring FinTech innovators from ADGM RegLab, the world’s largest start-up accelerator Plug-and-Play, and KPMG Digital Village team, to showcase game-changing FinTech solutions that will address today’s business challenges.
FinTech start-ups, investors, mentors and the financial community will have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas on Bootcamp Day.
