KPMG in Bahrain launches app for VAT readiness

KPMG in Bahrain has launched a mobile application ‘KPMG VAT Toolkit’ to assist businesses in the Kingdom understand value-added tax (VAT) and evaluate its impact on the way business is conducted and supported.

VAT is expected to be introduced in the Kingdom in the second half of 2018.

KPMG VAT Toolkit contains up-to-date information, insights from KPMG’s subject matter experts and practical tools, best practice information from around the World and all lessons learned from Saudi Arabia and UAE, all aimed at helping businesses and individuals prepare for the new tax system.

The easy-to-navigate application is available for iOS and Android devices and also features a VAT Compliance Tool, enabling users to get familiar with the upcoming VAT compliance and their VAT payable or recoverable position.
