Oger Systems merges with Scanit
Dubai:

Fadi Al Masri

Oger Systems, a leading Saudi system integrator, has entered into a strategic merger with Scanit, a leading Middle East Security consultancy company.

The alliance is expected to result in remarkable benefits to the Saudi business community, a statement said.

The advanced security services and consultations jointly provided by the two new partners will definitely increase the efficiency and boost the productivity of the Saudi companies, said an official spokesman.

According to the agreement, Oger Systems will provide companies in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East with an integrated range of the latest security services, including penetration testing, security architecture review, internal and external audits, application reviews, security awareness programs, and forensic investigation services’.

Furthermore, the company will offer specialised security training courses and recruitment services to help companies increase their levels of security.

This significant merger sheds the light on the considerable growth Oger Systems is witnessing, and proves the company’s commitment to supplying the the Saudi Arabian market with the highest quality of services to help them conquer the increasing security challenges their companies are facing.

“Oger Systems has always been keen to take every possible initiative to offer the best IT services to companies in Saudi Arabia, either on its own or through strategic partnerships with some of the world’s leading IT companies.  No doubt, our alliance with such an internationally reputed company as Scanit will receive huge attention from the market, especially with the top-notch services we’ll be able to offer thanks to this alliance,” said CEO, Oger Systems, Fadi Al Masri.

Scanit which opened in Dubai Internet City in 2001, is considered to be the leading independent IT security consultancy company in the Middle East, servicing the majority of the banking, telecom and aviation sectors.

“In light of the huge investment we are seeing in the growing IT infrastructures in the Middle East, and the growing security threats, it is no surprise that companies are insisting on state of the art security,” said general manager, Scanit, David Michaux.

Oger Systems, based in Riyadh, is a part of Saudi Oger Group and it is among the leading system integration companies, offering services to clients across different sectors.

The company focuses on delivering technology-led business solutions to its customers across varied industries across the kingdom. Its principal activities are providing IT infrastructure, business solutions, portals and health care solutions. – TradeArabia News Service
