Frasers Hospitality opens third property in Bahrain

MANAMA, February 21, 2024

Frasers Hospitality, a strategic business unit of Frasers Property, has announced the opening of its third property in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Fraser Suites Al Liwan Bahrain is strategically located in the Al Hamala neighbourhood, a suburban area in the northwestern region of the main island providing guests with modern amenities and convenient proximity to Dumistan Beach, the Sakhir Desert in Al Riffa and the town of Zallaq, home to the Al Zallaq Mosque.

It features a diverse range of 63 luxury, premium apartment suites that will cater to both business and leisure travellers with an elevated home-away-from-home experience.

Accommodations include nine one-bedroom, 42 two-bedroom, and 12 three-bedroom serviced suites ranging from 107 sqm to 192 sqm.

Fraser Suites Al Liwan Bahrain has become the cornerstone of Seef Properties’ mixed-use Al Liwan development – a new entertainment district offering direct access to the Al Liwan Mall designed to cater to a 'Live, Work, and Play' lifestyle.

Steps from Fraser Suites Al Liwan, guests will discover a choice of restaurants, retail, family entertainment, and recreational facilities available during their stay.

The Al Liwan mixed-use development also boasts a central plaza, creating an urban oasis which serves as a generous open space for communal gatherings and entertainment, enhancing the overall experience for both visitors and residents.

Mark Chan, Chief Operating Officer of Frasers Hospitality said: “This launch signifies yet another pivotal milestone for Frasers Hospitality in the Middle East. We are immensely honoured by Seef Properties’ trust in our operating expertise as we propel our expansion in this dynamic region."

“With this addition, our portfolio of Fraser Suites will encompass 23 operating properties worldwide, with 15 strategically located across Europe, the Middle East and Africa."

Seef Properties CEO Ahmed Yusuf said: “The opening of this new property with Frasers Hospitality is another step towards our shared goal of creating integrated lifestyle landmarks across the region. This development will provide the finest hospitality and retail services in the Northern Governorate."

The property offers in-suite dining facilities, the L’una breakfast buffet, N’ovetto, the property’s lobby café managed by award-winning chef Susy Massetti.

N’ovetto, meaning ‘little egg’ will debut the chef’s first quick serve café and offers guests breakfast and a variety of fresh food throughout the day including cakes and pastries crafted in Massetti’s Al Liwan bakery, delivering the same exceptional quality that patrons have come to expect at Massetti’s nearby restaurant N’ovo, stated Chan.

For a cultural experience, UNESCO world heritage site, Dilmun Burial Mounds, is also within easy reach, he added.

According to Chan, the new Fraser property is a reflection of the group's commitment to offering premium extended-stay experiences that complement the busy lifestyles of its guests.

“The latest addition enhances the Al Liwan mixed-use development and plays a vital role to the ongoing transformation of Hamala into a preferred lifestyle and residential destination," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
