Radisson Blu Riyadh opens new dining venue

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, May 29, 2023

Radisson Blu Hotel Riyadh Convention & Exhibition Center has recently opened The Terrace, featuring authentic dishes from around the world as well as sporting matches.

The Terrace is the perfect spot for sports fans wanting to enjoy a night out. Guests can try gourmet grills, wood-fired pizza and Mediterranean style tapas while watching their favourite teams in action on the restaurant’s 200-inch big TV screen.

Leading the culinary team is Executive Chef Justin Pillay, who has had a stellar hospitality career in various global brands. He has participated in gourmet festivals around the world and worked in three-Michelin Star Restaurant, “Le Vendôme” in Germany, before holding various Executive Chef appointments in South Africa & West Africa. He was appointed Executive Chef at the Radisson Blu Hotel Riyadh Convention & Exhibition Center in October 2021 and is now eager to bring in his culinary expertise to The Terrace.

“I love and am passionate about what I do. Kitchens are dynamic as it allows creative freedom on a daily basis. You get to communicate on a global scale through food, which is universally understood no matter the country or culture,” Justin said. “It is also very exciting to be part of the industry growth that is happening in Saudi Arabia as the Executive Chef of The Terrace at the Radisson Blu Hotel Riyadh Convention & Exhibition Center, and to see all of the changes happening at such a fast pace.”
